Thanks to Farley at Oh' Boy Fourth Grade for hosting this fun every month.
Listening: Ruby is our dog. Our large dog. I'm not used to having a large dog. A large dog that sounds like a horse sometimes when she's breathing. It's weird. But I love that goofy dog. Incidentally, while 50 pounds is huge for us, my teaching partner with moxie thinks it's just the right size. Probably because her dog is 100 pounds.
Loving: Total impulse buy at Target last weekend. I'd seen multiple bloggers sharing their love for Papermate Flair pens. It all makes sense now.
Thinking: My to do list is looooong. The good news is it's all stuff I really want to do. How to fit it all in???? How long until spring break?
Wanting: I got some quality time with my mister on our date night last night. So needed! Now I need some with my girlies. A good chunk of time with Photoshop would help make a dent in that to do list, also.
Needing: I need a trip home! Good food, good friends, good shopping. We're headed over during spring break, and I can't wait.
Pet Peeves: This seriously takes my blood pressure through the roof. Our island is the first thing your eyes hit when you come in the back door. My family feels the need to drop of their random bits of crapola there. It really bothers me. I don't mind the kitchen table or the counter or the laundry room drop off. For some reason, it really bothers me that the first thing I see when I walk in is all the stuff nobody felt like dealing with. I have figured out a solution though. I have a firm if you leave it on the island, and I get to it first, I will throw it away. Yes, I have followed through. Yes, I know that's mean. It worked though.
Now for the sale bit. Like the rest of the blog world, my little store will be joining the Teachers Pay Teachers Super Bowl Sunday sale.
Now, how cute is that button? Ashley Hughes at The School Supply Addict made it and a link up to see everyone who's joining in.
Anyway, I'm updating my Primary Brights pack this weekend. It's my best seller. It was also my first for sale item, so it could use a little sprucing up. I'm also trying to decide if it's worth it to put my 100th Day of School plans together in a set. We'll see. I also have 47 other things on that to do list that need to happen first.
Another sale totally worth mention? Kirsten at KPM Doodles is having a 1/2 off sale in her store until the 14th!!!!! I love her stuff. Yes, I make papers to go with her doodles, but this is not a shameless plug. Cause I seriously love her stuff and half off is crazy awesome.
Go here: KPM Doodles
Use this code: LOVE
Now head on over to Oh' Boy Fourth Grade and see what's currently going on with everyone else!

Thanks for the heads up on the sale on KPM doodles - I keep looking at a few things there and now I can just click and buy (including your fab papers!).

I love pens. Love them. I love the Flair pens!! They are nice and thick!! Awesome!!
ReplyDeleteOh my word. I should have put my pet peeve is the junk on my kitchen table and bar. It's the same thing. As soon as I walk in I see all the junk on the table and then turn and there's more junk on the bar!! It drives me nuts!!! Just to eat dinner I have to clear all that stuff EVERY DAY. And I am the same way. If I get to it first, in the trash it's gonna go...
I can imagine how long your to do list is...because you are so talented!! :O)

I will definitely be updating my wish list with your products! I'm a little addicted, especially now that you've joined forces with KPM Doodles! Look at my post to see how many products are made from your clipart- haha! Probably half of my store. I'm a little obsessed! Keep up the good work! :)

I LIVE for Flair pens. They're the best. As for the island, I wish I could say that I'm as good as you are at keeping it cleaned up, but it's a mess at this moment. You've motivated me to get on it!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on a FOREVERRRRR LONG to do list. As I sit here and read blogs... :-P

PS I have to copy Amanda and say the same thing. I triple <3 my blog design. :)
I love Papermate Flair! I use them for grading, and love varying the colors each time I grade a new stack. The kids like seeing what color will be on their work as well.

I CANNOT stand the junk that accumulates on my kitchen counter either! It makes me grumpy when the first thing I see when I get home is the crap my hubby leaves on the counter!
