It's time! It's time! It's time! I love the Currently linky, but I think I love that it signals a new month as much as anything. Inching closer to summer, my friends!
I hosted our neighborhood bunko last night. Which means my kids got kicked out for the night. Which means my house is quiet. Which means it's like heaven around here right now.
I love my desk planner. Observe:
It's big. It's pretty. It keeps me organized. What more can you ask for? Every time I sit down at my computer it makes me smile.
Had a blast with the neighborhood ladies last night. I think we have a tendency to not make room for girl time in our lives. I feel like there are so many things I'm not doing enough of with my time-time with my girls, time with my husband, time with my family. I feel guilty when I take time just for myself. But I loved it, and it will make me a happier part of all of the above. Now, go tell your husband your going out for margaritas cause this blogger said it will make you nicer to be around.
Need a pedicure. It's March in Texas, flip flop weather is here. Got to get my toes worthy. And good grief, the laundry has piled up around here. It's out of control. I need some magic laundry dust to sprinkle around.
Well, I think the first two are self explanatory. My mister got me a spa day gift certificate for Christmas that I'm itching to use. Marathons I don't technically hate. Just one. The one that laps around me twice today and keeps me from leaving my house until about 1:30 ish. I'm trapped. And annoyed. I wanted a pedicure. And a salad for lunch from Trader Joe's. Guess that's a sign I need to stay home and do all that laundry.
Thanks to Farley from Oh' Boy Fourth Grade for hosting this!

Happy weekend everybody!

No need to tell me twice. A margarita has been calling my name all week!

Teaching In Oz
I wish it was flip flop weather here in Mississippi! It's actually snowing a little today. Tonight our town has a father/daughter snow flake ball. I guess the snow flakes are fitting! lol

Found you through Farley! Time to get toes sandal worthy in South Carolina as well.
ReplyDeleteVery jealous that you only have a week to go before Spring Break- I have 3! Boo! I'm also jealous that you can already wear flip flops. It's still below freezing here in Chi-town. In like a lion, out (hopefully) like a lamb.:)

My toes are badly neglected too:( It's a good thing that in NY not many people see my toes right now! The laundry is piled up here too. I guess I will keep relaxing and blog stalking...haha!

Thanks for visiting my blog! I love your planner!! I am probably the most OCD organized person on the planet and love any kind of chart! I also noticed you had a previous post about Comprehension Tool kit so I looked over that post. Don't you love tool kit? I do! We also subscribe to Time for Kids and use it weekly to keep reinforcing those skills!
ReplyDeleteThanks again!

Just got a pedicure yesterday, although in Colorado it's far from flip flop weather, it still makes me happy to think it's closer than it was a few weeks ago :) :) LOVE your planner!

Hi Megan - your desk calendar is fab!!! I agree that time with the girls is imporant!! I laughed at your hate marathons. I wish I could run 1/2 marathons again but injured my leg so it's short runs only. Have a great week.
